Revolut has launched a new easy-access savings account offering 4.5% AER (variable) for UK customers, positioning it among the most competitive instant-access rates currently available.
The new account, called Revolut Promo Rate Instant Access Savings, is powered by ClearBank and is available to new savings customers only for a limited time.
Interest rate: 4.50% AER (variable)
Maximum balance at promo rate: £20,000
Account type: Easy / instant access
Interest calculation: Calculated daily and paid the next working day
Withdrawals: Allowed at any time via the Revolut app
Provider: ClearBank (via Revolut)
FSCS protection: Up to £120,000 per person, per bank
To qualify for the 4.5% promotional rate, you must:
Be a UK Revolut personal account holder
Be 18 or over and a UK tax resident
Not have previously opened a Revolut savings account with any partner bank
Open the account between 10 December 2025 and 22 January 2026
Existing Revolut users who have already held a savings account will not be eligible for the promotional rate.
The boosted 4.5% AER applies to eligible balances until 31 July 2026.
After this date, the account will automatically switch to Revolut’s standard Instant Access Savings account, with the interest rate depending on your Revolut subscription plan. Revolut has confirmed customers will be notified in advance of the change, and the account can be closed if preferred.
Any balance above £20,000 earns interest based on your active Revolut plan:
Standard / Plus: 3.00% AER
Premium: 3.25% AER
Metal: 3.51% AER
Ultra: 4.00% AER (up to £200,000)
Interest is calculated daily across all personal instant-access savings accounts held with Revolut.
Funds are deposited with ClearBank, a UK-regulated bank. Eligible deposits are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000 per person, per bank.
As with all savings accounts, customers should be aware that FSCS protection applies across all accounts held with the same banking institution.

The 4.5% rate matches the current headline easy-access rate offered by Chase UK, though Chase’s rate is also restricted to new customers. This makes Revolut’s new offer particularly relevant for savers who have already used Chase and are currently earning a lower rate on instant-access cash.
Revolut’s new promo savings account is a competitive short-to-medium-term option for new savers looking to earn a strong rate without locking money away. However, eligibility restrictions and the expiry of the promotional rate mean it’s worth understanding what happens after July 2026 before applying.
As always, savers should compare rates, limits, and access conditions carefully before moving money.
