Best Savings Accounts UK — June 2026 Rates Roundup

The best UK savings rates for June 2026, including a £150 cashback offer ending 8 June.

The base rate is holding at 3.75%, fixed rates are pushing past 4.85%, and there's a time-limited cashback offer worth up to £150 that expires on 8 June.

Two key dates to watch this month: CPI inflation figures drop on 17 June, and the Bank of England meets the following day. Almost nobody is expecting a change, but if inflation comes in hot, the second half of the year gets interesting.

Switch Offers

HSBC Premier — £500 — requires £100,000 deposited within 90 days. Best bonus on the market if you qualify.

NatWest / RBS — £200 — best non-premier option. Deposit £1,250 within 60 days of switching, hold for 24 hours.

First Direct — £200 — increased from £175. Promo running until 14 July.

Easy Access Savings

Tembo HomeSaver — 4.55% — our top pick. 12-month bonus included. Maximum balance of £20,000 is the main limitation. If you're planning to take a mortgage through Tembo, the rate rises to 5.55% — worth noting for first-time buyers. Affiliate link in the description.

Chase — 4.50% — new customers only, 12-month bonus. You'll need to open the current account first.

Hanley Economic BS — 4.27% — no bonus. Genuine rate. Maximum two withdrawals per year — from the third, a 60-day interest charge applies.

Hampshire Trust Bank — 4.20% — no withdrawal restrictions, up to £250,000. A solid set-and-forget option.

Cahoot — 4.17% — no restrictions, up to £500,000. Highest deposit cap in this group.

Sidekick — 4.17% — the 0.6% bonus applies up to £60,000 only. Above that, the rate drops to 3.57%.

Tembo's rate recently dropped from 4.75% to 4.55% — full rate history on DepositScout.com. Set a reminder at 11 months.

Cash ISAs

Fresh £20,000 allowance for 2026/27 as of April.

Easy Access Cash ISAs

Trading 212 — 4.76% — top headline rate. Flexible ISA, 12-month bonus. Make sure you open the Cash ISA specifically — easy to accidentally open the Stocks & Shares ISA on their app. New users only.

MoneyBox — 4.75% — 12-month bonus. Three withdrawals per year maximum. Open Access ISA also available at 4.00% if you need more flexibility.

Plum — 4.60% — drops to 2.54% after 12 months. Transfer rate is 4.00%.

Atom Bank — 4.25% — no notable catches. No transfers in currently.

Tembo — 4.05% — drops to 2.80% after 12 months. No transfers in accepted.

Fixed Cash ISAs

Close Brothers 2 Year — 4.71% — £10,000 minimum. Interest paid annually, not compounded. Non-flexible.

Oak North 2 Year — 4.55% — £1 minimum. Withdrawals allowed with a 90 to 270-day interest penalty. Account stays open if you withdraw early.

Oak North 1 Year — 4.53% — same conditions as the two-year.

Nationwide 1–5 Year — 4.50% to 4.60% — flexible ISA. One-year rate up from 4.35% last month. Early withdrawal triggers full account closure plus a 60 to 300-day interest penalty.

HSBC 1 Year — 4.25% — requires an existing HSBC current account. Non-flexible.

Oak North. High rate, accessible minimum, and they won't close your account if you need to get out early.

Fixed Rate Bonds

MBNA 1 Year — 4.85% — top one-year rate. £1,000 minimum. Managed by phone only.

Melton BS 1 Year — 4.80% — £5,000 minimum, £500,000 maximum.

Raisin 3 Year — 4.80% — up to £150 cashback for deposits of £25,000 or more into a one-year or longer fixed bond. Offer ends 8 June. Combined return works out at 5.10% on a £25,000 deposit. Affiliate link in the description.

Afin Bank 5 Year — 4.85% — £1,000 minimum, £200,000 maximum. Interest paid monthly or at maturity.

Chetwood Bank 5 Year — 4.81% — no apparent maximum balance. Interest paid annually.

Chetwood Bank 6 Month — 4.30% — top pick for a short commitment. Interest paid at maturity only.

Interest paid at maturity all lands in one tax year — could push you over your Personal Savings Allowance. Monthly or annually paid-away interest spreads the liability.

Notice Accounts

Rates are competitive but the gap versus easy access and fixed accounts is narrow. Worth noting: these providers rarely change — it's not a competitive market.

Stafford BS 180 Day — 4.26% — top rate. £5,000 minimum. Branch or post only.

Castle Trust Bank 120 Day — 4.20% — £1,000 minimum. Online and app.

Oxbury Bank 90 Day — 4.18% — monthly interest. App-based. No joint accounts.

Oxbury Bank 35 Day — 4.16% — shortest notice period at a competitive rate.

Regular Savers

You drip-feed money in monthly, so your average balance across the year is roughly half your total deposits. The headline rate applies to that average — which is why the actual interest earned is lower than it looks.

The gotchas

Zopa — 7.10% — only runs for six months. Total interest if maxed: around £36.

Santander Edge Saver — 6.00% — £4,000 total balance cap, not a monthly deposit limit. Includes a 2.5% variable bonus that drops after 12 months. Requires the Edge current account at £3/month.

The best picks

First Direct — 7.00% fixed, 12 months — £300/month maximum, no withdrawals, requires their current account. Max out and you'll earn around £136 in interest on £3,600 deposited.

Lloyds Club Lloyds — 6.25% fixed — £400/month cap, withdrawals allowed, fee waived with £2,000/month pay-in. Max out and you'll earn around £162 on £4,800 deposited.

Monmouthshire BS — 6.00% — best open-to-all option. No existing account needed. £500/month cap. Max out and you'll earn around £195 on £6,000 deposited.
