Complaints

We want to hear from you if something has fallen short of our standards.

Last updated: July 20, 2026

DepositScout is committed to providing accurate, useful information to help you make better savings decisions. If something has fallen short of that standard, we want to hear from you.

How to Raise a Complaint

To raise a complaint, email us at [email protected] with a clear description of your concern.

We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 5 business days and will work to resolve matters as quickly as possible.

Complaints About a Bank or Savings Provider

DepositScout is an independent comparison service — we are not a bank and are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. That means complaints about our website and service are handled by us directly, and the Financial Ombudsman Service cannot consider complaints about DepositScout itself.

If your complaint is about a savings account or a bank you found through our site, you should raise it with that provider first. Providers regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority must handle your complaint under its rules, and if you are unhappy with their final response (or they take more than 8 weeks), you can refer the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge.
